Lemmata

Every lemma (lexicon entry) is assigned different categories: a word category (functionally), a shape (morpheme type, formally) and optionally a domain (semantically).

(assigned semantically)

  • - prop.loc. (name of a location)

Be aware of the different possibilities of combination between word category and domain, e.g.: ʾabyaḍ: adj., colour; bayāḍ: n., colour. muḥammad ăl ǧaʿfarī: muḥammad: n., prop.pers.; ǧaʿfarī: adj., prop.pers.
